I Have a Pigeon Named Moses

AAAHHH... there's no better way to unwind after a long day at preschool than sitting on the deck with your shirt off, blowing your horn (thanks Karen), eating a nice big bowl of ... birdseed? Admittedly, this was not the intended purpose of the bowl of birdseed - I thought he would throw it all over the yard like he usually does for the benefit of the birds. It seems, however, that today I didn't feed him enough lunch, because I looked out to find him shoveling the stuff into his cute little mouth. He noticed me watching him, took one more mouthful, then said (quite seriously) "The rest is for the birds."

Oh, and in case you were wondering, it tastes "birdy."

That made me laugh out loud. :) You might appreciate our dinner convo tonight- Kev was teaching Keefe how to flex and say things like, "Hey ladies, which way to the beach?" Keefe then tried: (while flexing) "Hey, Moses! Let's go to the city!"
We were just laughing and laughing...wish I could remember more of his flex-declaratives...

Sorry about the horn but I have to blame that on Steve- I was at least 5 miles away when they were purchased. I'm glad he enjoyed it though- and at least you don't have any close neighbors for him to wake up.
Matteo's little friend Mia likes to eat birdseed too- she ate it out of a little birdhouse that Matteo made and hung up on the tree. :)
